The Gateway allows you to transition an life infrastructure from the Active lifecycle state to a different state. The request to transition is made from the Editor. |
Transitions to these states are possible:
Standby - move an infrastructure to Standby state when you want to interrupt its service temporarily while waiting for other events to occur
Inactive - move an infrastructure to the Inactive state when it's no longer needed
Follow these steps to request the transition:
Open the active infrastructure in the Editor.
At the left-hand side of the
screen, click the [Action] button.
[Show me]
The drop-down menu reveals the states you can transition to.
Select the state, and the request
to change state is submitted.
The infrastructure goes to Pending while it waits to go to either Standby
or Inactive.
Note: You can cancel the your request to move the infrastructure to Standby if the change to the infrastructure has not yet been validated and implemented.
