From the option buttons at the
left-hand side of the Monitor, click the [Global
Monitors] button. [Show me]
The Monitor Window appears.
From the View drop-down menu at the top of the screen, select Alarms, and the Alarms view appears.
At the bottom of the Monitor
Window, click the [Create New Alarms]
button. [Show me]
The Create New Alarm dialog
box appears. [Show me]
Enter a name for the alarm in
the field provided, and then click [OK]
to save the alarm name.
The Create: Global Alarm dialog
box appears. [Show me] Near
the top of the dialog, the Alarm
field displays the name of the alarm being configured and the In
Farm field displays the name of the infrastructure that uses the
alarm.
From the Contact Method list, select one of the Contact Methods that you set up earlier.
From the Apply Rule When drop-down list, select the monitor you're setting the rule for.
Use the button
to add another row of fields to set more conditions; use the
button to remove the row if you change your mind.
In the Notes field, enter any notes or information about the alarm.
Click the [Apply] button to record your configuration settings. You're returned to the Monitor Window.
Click [Close] to return to the main Monitor area (entrance to the Monitor).
Click [Commit Changes] to send the settings to the Control Plane.
Important: Changes cannot take affect until after you click [Commit Changes] on the main Monitor page.

Open the active infrastructure in the Monitor.
From the Monitor option buttons at the left-hand side of the screen, click [Global Alarms], and the Monitor Farm screen appears. [Show me]
From the View drop-down menu at the top of the screen, select Alarms.
In the Details
Area towards the bottom of the screen, click the [Delete]
