Backup Preparation

There are a number of post-activation tasks that you must complete to prepare for backup.

Follow these steps to prepare for backup:

  1. Locate the sample scripts or batch files on your customer software image. Contact your Super User or Grid Operations if you need help locating these files.

  2. Customize the sample scripts or batch files for your applications, or create new scripts or batch files.

  3. Test the scripts or batch files by manually invoking them to ensure they behave as expected.

  4. After the next daily backup, check the Support Area in the Gateway for tickets sent to you reporting any backup errors that may have occurred.

  5. If backup errors are received, contact Support for assistance.

Important: You will not have a valid backup copy to restore from until you resolve any backup errors.
