Creating alarms

A new alarm is created through the Monitor Window. Editing or deleting of an existing alarm is made through the same window.

Recording Changes

From the Create Monitor dialog box, you can set up and configure all of the available monitors. To remain in the dialog and make the entries for subsequent monitors, use the [APPLY] button to record the settings instead of the [OK] button. The [OK] button will record the entries, but it closes the dialog after each use.

When no more monitors are left to configure, you're reminded by this message box. Click [OK] to close the dialog and return to the Monitor Window.

To record your entries and remain in the dialog to set up subsequent monitors, use the [APPLY] button instead of the [OK] button. The [OK] button will record the entries, but it closes the dialog after each use.

[COMMIT CHANGES]

Entries made in the various monitor and alarm windows and dialog boxes are recorded as you make them, but they will not be saved, or affected globally across your infrastructure, until you save them by clicking the [Commit Changes] button in the Monitor.
