Creating monitors

A new monitor is created through the Monitor Window.

Recording Changes

[APPLY] vs. [OK]

From the Create Monitor dialog box, you can set up and configure all available monitors. To record your entries and remain in the dialog to set up subsequent monitors, use the [APPLY] button instead of the [OK] button. The [OK] button will record the entries, but it closes the dialog after each use.

No more monitors

When no more monitors are left to configure, a message box advises you. Click [OK] to close the dialog and return to the Monitor Window.

[COMMIT CHANGES]

Entries made in the various monitor and alarm windows and dialog boxes are recorded as you make them, but they will not be saved, or affected globally across your infrastructure, until you save them by clicking the [Commit Changes] button in the Monitor.
