This snapshot capability allows you create disk-based image copies of your final software installations. Snapshots are used to enable server flexing and automated device failover capabilities. Additionally, you can perform maintenance operations through the remote root/administrative access that the Gateway provides to all devices within your infrastructure.
In order to assure easy remote access, the Gateway works with the basic IP-based utilities for remote access, including SSH, pcAnywhere, FTP, and Telnet.
