Remote element access

After your infrastructure is configured and activated, you can make live updates to your device configuration parameters through the Grid Gateway.

What will I be able to do through remote access?

Use the Gateway snapshot capability to create disk-based image copies of your final software installations. These snapshots are used to enable server flexing and automated device failover capabilities.
Perform maintenance operations through the remote root/administrative access to all devices within your infrastructure.

What kinds of remote access are available?

To assure easy remote access, the Gateway is designed to work with basic IP-based utilities, including the following:

SSH (Secure Shell) / SCP (Secure Copy Protocol)
pcAnywhere

Note: Telnet and FTP are also available, but they're not preferred access methods.
