About Network Attached Storage (NAS)

The Gateway's Network Attached Storage (NAS) uses EMC-based storage technology.

To provide you with the full benefits of NAS, the pre-configured network attached storage option supports both NFS and CIFS clients.

NAS is backed by a mirrored and BCVed storage system and accessed by a datamover that is n+1 provisioned, so there is always a hot spare ready to take over in the event of a server failure.

Pre-configured NAS is available on a per infrastructure basis.
