It's possible to design and implement an infrastructure with a minimum of element configuration settings, but the Grid Gateway provides rich capability for complex configuration of your infrastructure elements. |
An attempt to make an invalid connection between elements will return a message screen with an explanation of why it's invalid.
The "trusted" interface on a subnet must be set up before you can submit the infrastructure design for validation.
The primary (eth0) interface must be connected for all hardware elements. The primary interface is usually located on the top side of the element.
Element names can only be specified when the infrastructure is in Design state. Default names are given, for example, Balancer1, Balancer2, to each subsequent element added.
