Once your infrastructure is active, you need to perform some post-activation tasks to prepare your system for backup. As part of these tasks, scripts or batch files must be created by you to quiesce and un-quiesce your applications on each server to be backed up.
The Gateway image includes sample quiesce scripts and batch files on your software image that you can modify for your specific applications. |
